Last Postrivoro in 2012, ninth on this planet, closed with a perfect and frosty sky. In the kitchen there was the smell of soup cooked by Chris Wolff, assistant to Leandro Carreira. Soup made from leftovers, but full of heart.

L’ultimo Postrivoro del 2012, il nono su questa terra, si è concluso con un cielo limpido e ghiacciato. In cucina c’era l’odore di zuppa cucinata da Chris Wolff, l’assistente di Leandro Carreira. Zuppa degli avanzi, ma piena di cuore.

When i met him for the first time I thought he was a sort of mad scientist (you know someone like Doc Emmett L. Brown in Back to the Future). Hie espresso machine resembles something coming from a punk post apocaliptic movie. I think he could perfectly fit in a scene of Strange Days movie.

Nik Orosi was elected Best Bartender in Crotia for three years in a row and won the World Choice Barista Award in 2008. He own Elis Cafè in Zagreb.

His coffee will close the next Postrivoro selected in order to fit with Leandro Carreira’s menu and Marina Bersani’s wines.

With great humility he always tells us to feel uneasy to talk about  coffee with italian people. What i can say is that thanks to him I had one of the best coffee of my life and I can not wait to taste his next creation.

Quando l’ho visto la prima volta ho pensato che fosse una specie di scienziato pazzo, avete presente il Doc Emmett L. Brown di Ritorno al Futuro? Beh, diciamo che la sua macchina per l’espresso aveva un non so che di ambientazione punk postapocalittica. Io so soltanto che se il 21 dicembre dovesse veramente finire il mondo vorrei che l’ultima tazza di caffè me l’avesse preparata lui.

Nik Orosi è stato eletto per tre anni di seguito il miglior Barista della Croazia ed ha vinto nel 2008 il World Choice Barista Award. E’ proprietario dell’Elis Cafè di Zagabria.

Sarà lui a chiudere il prossimo Postrivoro con la sua miscela di caffè selezionata apposta per il menù creato da Leandro Carreira e i vini abbinati da Marina Bersani.

Con molta umiltà ci dice sempre di sentirsi in difficoltà a parlare di caffè con degli italiani, di fatto grazie a lui ho bevuto uno dei migliori caffè della mia vita e non vedo di assaggiare la sua prossima creazione.

On December 8th and 9th in Faenza three souls will stop wandering. They’ll be at Postrivoro, the imaginary animal that lives in the time of a weekend. Thirty-six hours to grab the flavours of Leandro Carreira, chef de cuisine of Viajante in London, the smell of coffee chosen and roasted by Nik Orosi, best bartender in Zagreb, and savour the wines poured by Marina Bersani.
